For as long as the car's been around, people all over the world have loved it. Probably, the first mechanic to mess around with the thing came to the conclusion it could look better with a nice wheel set. Nowadays, that mechanic would have the same attitude, but his selection choices would be far more numerous, especially in large wheels. And the styles and colors of a rim are only restricted to an owner's imagination these days. There are even variations of "dubs" called "spinners," the surfaces of which spin on the rim.
It's a smorgasbord of wheels! Cars and the wheels they use go back a long time.
